im expecting filipinos from out of town like Dallas and SA to be coming during the weekend to get a taste of Jollibee.
No I'm not. I'm talking locals. If you're out of towners, yes wait 30 mins in line. Want a quick bite, just go somewhere else to eat.
Tried it yesterday for the first time. Ordered the chicken, no better than getting a Chester Fried out of a Chevron station, it was terrible. There were a lot of Filipinos there, it's got to be the novelty of it that makes it appealing, because the food itself was barfable.
San Diego has a huge Fillipino population and one opened up right in the middle of Mira Mesa (a heavily huge fillipino neighborhood). I tried it once just out of curiosity and the FOOD WAS HORRIBLE. I think even the fillipino's agreed because it closed down around a year or two after it opened. The food is on par to microwaveable lunches. YUCK
They couldn't even make their food look edible on a marketing poster?? Gross. Why would anybody willfully put that in their stomach?
