In light of Isabel's update thread, I thought I'd start my own. As some of you know, my wife and I lost our first daughter (stillborn at full term) back in November of 2010. I am happy to report that after a very long day and an emergency c-section on January 9th, we are now the proud parents of a beautiful little boy. I have already learned so much in the first few days it's insane...life is so different now. But we're grateful for Dominic - one of the best days of my life.
Congrats, slcrocket! Became a father last February and already going to celebrate my daughter's 1st birthday in a few weeks. Time flies! Enjoy every single second with your little on.
Awesome news, sir! Congrats! We'll have to have a Seattle Rockets viewing party later this season where we can all bring the kids.
Keep at it (not that it's overly onerous to do so ). We tried for over three years before we got pregnant the first time. The second time happened much more quickly for us. That sounds great. Sign me up.
This is great news, man. Congrats! I remember your first thread and it killed me. Amazing how similar our stories sound. We had a stillborn at full term in January of 2009 and just had happy healthy twin boys in August 2011. It was pretty amazing being in the same hospital and having many of the nurses remember us from the first time. Like coming full circle, you know? Anyway, congrats again. And remember these 4 words - they will make your life much easier for the next few months... Spoiler SLEEP WHEN HE SLEEPS.
