New 3rd Uniform

Both. Get rid of the current uniform in red or white - and make a BLack version for the alternate road uni. Have the Classic White ('Rockets') at home, and then the Classic Championship Red with 'Houston' for the main road. I mean, if they REALLY want to sell more jerseys, get rid of the current one, go back to the old ones, plus the Black version of the current one, and sell 300 million jersey next year.

 

I'd be so thrilled if that were it. Classic font, updated colors, even our new logo on it. And it says HOUSTON.

 

I hope the new jersey says HOUSTON on it.

I thought the nuggets one was actually ok. Dark blue, silver stripes on the side, and big fat HTOWN in the middle.

 

I think it should be silver color since a rocket is looking silvery like.

 

Now every team has a red one.

 

I don't understand all the hate to what you refer to as "pajama jerseys"..

flame all you want, but I thought those were awesome: they were totally different and unique and even the logo with the dominant red was freaking sweet.. I have a Francis and a Barkley one and if they still fit me, I'd wear em.. y'all are just a bunch of drama queens..

they're better than the European-style gay over sized in the shoulder area stuff we have now..

 

hm he said it was a darker color, but are we going completely away from the color red? i think our jerseys will have red in them as long as Yao is with the team. i think it'll just be a darker shade of red.

I really hope it's something classic with Houston on chest. I really hate this China jocking/Jettsons theme we have going on now. It makes our players look like WNBA players.

Same here. If it were dark red, it would be beautiful. I hope it's not a new design altogether but just an alternate. I'm one of the few people who actually likes our current jerseys.

 

Look at what Seattle did a few years back. They went back to their classics and won over their fans despite how bad their teams were. Rockets should just simply follow common sense.

Those inverses look like the Chinese national team jerseys... as if the ones now don't resemble them enough already. haha

 

Why are they going for darker? There are no traditional Rocket's colours that are darker.

I thin they should go Gold and Red.

If they will go darker, then i think that Navy blue will work, however it will look very similar to Cavs' alternate jersey.

Brown would look disgusting.

Who can i write to at the Rockets to make the alt uniform Gold?
