watch the series again. kobe didn't do anything to rondo. all he did was sag off and dare rondo to shoot, and if he drove, gasol/bynum/odom were there o block his shots. rondo got by him many times with ease but gasol and the big men rejected his shots numerous times. and like i stated many times, the lakers' big men were key b/c they stopped rondo. lebron literally made paul pierce into a punk; we all thought pierce was injured or something as he sucked on both ends when he played lebron. but pierce played pretty good again v. ron artest. the point of the 82 games is to show lebron is among the leaders in game winners, and he's clutch, unlike the myth thrown out there that he's a choker and can't hit big shots. as you are entitled to your opinion. jerry west is not associated with ESPN. he's an actual GM who has had a great history at judging talent. and he actually thought kobe would be great FROM HIGH SCHOOL. so for him to give the nod to lebron when he drafted kobe tells alot. but again these are all opinions of course. who's the best? it's freakin' opinions. but when i watch games throughout season/playoffs, kobe has many more bad/mediocre games. he had a month during the season and was mediocre/subpar in the first round, and subpar in 3 of the 7 finals games. lebron had a total of how many bad games in the entire season/playoffs? you can count yourself as they're easy b/c there aren't many.
This is getting ridiculous. If Rondo is so easy to defend, why didn't LeBron switch to him but just saw his team being killed? Kobe's a warrior. He's slowed down by a fracture finger and a bad knee in regular season and played through it. For the first 2 months, he's the consensus MVP in every ranking. He averaged 38% in first 4 games of playoff, drained knee, and shot 47% rest of the way. LeBron is a joke in comparison, a phantom elbow injury was used as excuse for his choking job. Although medical staff insisted there's no problem. Had he got a fracture like Kobe, he's gonna retire.
now this is a ridiculous post. i'm going to put you on ignore. you don't even discuss the facts that i brought up.
What fact? It's just your opinion. Weren't you on TMac's nuts all the time too? That pretty much summarized your ability to evaluate players.
T-Mac's a LBJ lover - the arguments against LeBron he'll fail to acknowledge and just talk about his mediocre teammates that Bron has had prior to this season
Your comparing a player in his mid twenties to a player well in his thirties. 95% of everything Lebron does is thru athleticism. He's young and able to do things Kobe cant physically do in a 82 game season. So Lebron's stats will look better NOT because he's the better player, but because Kobe's the much older player who's played a ton of more games than Lebron has. With that said, theres no way in hell Lebron's touching Kobe. When the playoffs come around we see year in and year out that Lebron cant get the job done. A) Not being able to play through injuries B) Way too playful in situations that require mental focus C) Becoming "passive" in places that require him to takeover (game 6 against Boston) D) Becoming a diva when you fail to lead ur team in a playoff series (not shaking anybody's hand) At the end of the day.....Lebron can average a triple double in the regular season. But if he cant translate regular season to playoffs when it REALLY counts then he's another Dominique Wilkins. Kobe wins easily
