The two or three times a year I try 1560 for a couple of minutes, this is what usually happens. Garbage.
You missed out on this great segment: http://thegame.podbean.com/2011/01/05/bridging-the-gap-for-the-texans/ I'm sure you'd rather listen to the company man tiptoeing around the Texans situation.
Chance, it's been a while since you've been on here......now that 1560 is over, can you lure the Rockets/Texans to 790? http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/sports/barron/7603933.html Chance McClain, who created the original imaging campaign for KGOW (1560 AM) and held the title of program director before Craig Larson of Sporting News Radio took on those duties this spring, has left the all-sports station, according to an e-mail message sent to employees by station owner David Gow.
i hope so because those are the only things keeping 610 afloat. Their have the worst lineups in the history of radio.
Rockets just reupped with 610 a month ago for a few more years. I'll find a link unless two people want to say yeah that's true.
Rockets re-up with KILT The Rockets extended their radio deal with KILT (610 AM), the team’s radio flagship since 2002. Terms of the deal, including its length, were not disclosed. "Our fans have grown accustomed to finding Rockets games on SportsRadio 610," Rockets president Tad Brown said in a statement issued by the team. "We look forward to continuing this mutually beneficial partnership as we head into the 2011-12 season." Play-by-play announcer Craig Ackerman and analyst and studio host Joel Blank will return for next season. The deal also provides access to players, coaches and executives on the station’s Rockets Power Hour and a weekly morning segment with GM Daryl Morey.
