http://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/...iladelphia-76ers-require-surgery-injured-knee Embiid is back after two years, but Okafor is still recovering from surgery, Simmons just had surgery, and Noel is getting a new one. They should be called the Philadephia Patients.
Good think Philly has a built in redundancy program at the 4/5 spot. Amazing foresight by the Philly organization!!
If he returns even moderately healthy Philly should trade him. So many knee problems already...this is the highest his value will ever be.
Remember this is the guy Holic wants us to trade for and also ship off Capela. Lmao I like nerlens but he's rail thin and had bad knees. I'll stick to the guy with the healthy body.
This sounds like a minor procedure. No timetable but I don't know if he'll be out that long. Philly definitely needs to make changes, but I'm sure they're holding out for a sweetheart offer for one of their three centers.
The article says it is minor. I still want him. Nene is a one year rental guys and it seems like Noel's trade value is at a pretty low point.
Noel's surgery is very minor and Simmons is expected to have recovered by January. The curious case is Okafor who should have already come back since the end of last season but still hasn't. Now that Noel will miss games we shall see if Okafor miraculously "recovers" and plays their next game.
