Ok Nene is unhappy about coming off the bench in Denver. The Nuggets just lost Voshon Lenard, and after Rasheed Wallace and Chris Bosh having their way with our PF's I'd say its time to move one. What would it take to get Nene here? He brings intensity, rebounding, his offensive game is developing and he's still very young. What would it take to get Nene? What would it take to get him? I mean JVG would love him.....he was drafted by the Knicks What would it take to get him here?
The only was I see them trading Nene to Houston is in exchange for JJ. They need a SG with Lenard out. That would make us EXTREMELY weak at SG/SF and I don't think JVG would want him to leave anyway.
i would like to see if that trade can hapend so we can trade taylor, howard or gaine for some pg and wait to sura to be healthy it would be a hard decision to make this trade work
I can see this trade happening maybe with JJ and a #1. Nene is just too good right now, but JJ was our glue on the offense last year
The only problem is that it leaves the Rockets with all new holes. It would be nice having a physical PF though. Cato was a defensive-minded big man, but not really that physical. We need somebody that will do what Kenyan Martin did tonight. Stick up for their teammates and b****-slap anyone who wants to get rough. We need an enforcer!
who knows, maybe if Sura comes back soon, and Gaines and Boki step up their game, it would make JJ expendable. I like his game though, his steadiness won a few games for us last year. Nene does have a bright future though, toss up for me.
JJ has been our only consitant on this team for the past year and these 2 games if you look at the stats. Nene is nothing but a little kid that is already whining about his playing time. Do you think that is going to work well with JVG? i really don't think so. JJ is in many ways our glue out there that holds things a bit together when it goes rough....he isn't expendable cause at this point he is the leader of the team.
Forget about Gaines. From what I heard from JVG in radio, he isn't even good in practice. His offense and game knowledge are below average. This guy is a complete bust.
Please tell us more about what you heard about on the radio - we haven't had a decent report yet in the radio thread.
how often do teams in the same conference trade with each other during the season if both are fighting for probably the same playoff spot?
