I dont know if this would help. But I know some 3rd world countries, people sell their kidneys for about $3,000. Its illegal though.

I've heard stories from my mom where people get drugged to sleep and when they woke up their kidneys are gone... and they're in extreme pain. It happens a lot here where I am. So I know for sure a fact the OP can buy a kidney on the cheap in 3rd world countries if he has the means.

However that's gotta be kinda iffy on the moral side of things.

Sorry I can't be of any assistance to the OP. Btw there are lots of B's on this board... I thought O's are the most common. I'm a B too.

    Best of luck!

That's good to know. I've asked a mod to move this info into your original post. It really helps you to give us all the info and if someone has a different blood type and wants to help you, this can be an alternative.

Why am I not surprised that the only two people who have been idiotic jerks on this thread are adeelsiddiqui and BEAT LA? Frankly, this BBS would be better off without both of them, even though adeel apologized at least.

To the original poster, I really hope you find help through this thread. Consider getting more media involved. I know this probably sounds bad, but perhaps there are people out there who would help based on financial incentives. I know it is not as nice as if it were done for completely selfless reasons, but if I were in your situation, I would consider anything, also striking a deal with a person like that. As long as it is the person's free will to do it, even if incentivized financially, I see nothing wrong with it from a moral standpoint.

While I would agree that CaseyH's post was not showing compassion or offering help or anything, I am not sure he was trying to be funny, perhaps he was simply telling the truth?

Seriously, I come to this BBS so much that I know most in here are great people, and do expect some funny or joking responses as well.

zlicciardo is absolutely correct, I have been dealing with this for a very long time now, and asking strangers for a kidney is one of the toughest thing anyone will ever do.

ATW, thank you! I certainly have thought and decided to gift my donor some financial rewards, just did not know how to properly express it on a BBS like this.

Life is too short and valuable, don't sweat the small stuffs. I won't have let some silly or joking bbs posts bother me  .
