I know people don't like fish, but he is actually trying to do good for union. Billy wants him out since he doesn't want an audit.
Hunter wanted to prolong the lockout, because he would keep getting paid a huge salary. He was hoping the season would be lost Hunter is turning the players againist Fisher, because Fisher didnt have an ego, and generally wanted to end the lockout. Hunter wanted to prolong it, and keep getting his "BIG" money This is why in the NFL Lockout Demaurice Smith said he would make his salary $1 a day( proving to his union, that he had no agenda) Billy Hunter is very agenda driven, and is most upset that we are playing basketball today.
That is what I understood as well. I don't like Fish but this would not be a reason if I understand correctly.
I don't like fisher as much as anybody but he doesn't seem to be doing nothing wrong...seems like hunter has something to hide
Apparently there was a lot of finger pointing after the lockout debacle. Fisher pushing for an audit could be retaliation more than actual shadiness.
If that's the case, Hunter would have nothing to hide. He should just let the audit happen and then get rid of Fisher AFTERWARD. But looks like he is now refusing the audit and trying to get rid of the whistle blower. So far, I am more suspicious of Hunter than Fisher.
I mean, we know he's a dirty dude on the court but I see nothing here that tells me he is the scum in this debacle. If anything it's Hunter that looks like the "dirty little prick".
