I am ready for the Marcus Morris at the 3 experiment to begin in H-Town.

He's been playing small forward. When he was sent down, the article said he would play exclusively at the 3.

Man that is so funny. This board is unanimously without a doubt guilty of the ones mentioned up top.

I can't wait to see some of our wings traded away so we could give all the SF minutes to Chandler Parsons and Marcus Morris...

i think scola and kevmart are holding the development of the younger guys back.

can't they be traded for next to nothing? trade exceptions?

Top 10 reasons you know you are a fan of a lottery team:

    1. When you are wondering what the 15th man on the roster could develop into.

    2. When you expect a loss and hope it's a blowout by the end of the 3rd quarter so you can see all the bench guys developing.

    3. When you are rooting for other lottery bound teams to win games so you get better odds at a higher pick.

    4. When you struggle to decide whether to watch last year's lottery pick play and develop in the NBDL or to watch the NBA team get smoked by a playoff team for the second night in a row.

    5. When you are hoping one of your mediocre players has a great stat line so he can be traded for something else.

    6. When you expect another loss.

    7. When you dread playing other lottery teams because the game is going to be so ugly and if you win, it costs you lottery positioning but if you lose, you are embarassed.

    8. When you are scouring other teams' rosters for expiring contracts.

    9. When you are hoping and praying that your team can just get through the season without the best player getting hurt.

    10. When other fans are trying to figure out whether the team is tanking or if they are really a bad team.

What is the point of sending a guy who is already pretty polished out of college to the D league. Its like playing a varsity player on the JV team.

Morris is looking like the Kevin Durant of the D-League.

Is the D-League just a junior varsity version NCAA? Morris has doubled his scoring, rebounding, and passing in the D-league compared to the NCAA.

Why would then send him to a worse league, after being successful in the NCAA? They seem to be wasting his time, since he is so dominant in a weaker league.

    McHale, fan of rookies.

One point may be to delay his development until we make our trades at the trade deadline so other teams won't want him. Ever thought of that??

If you are trying to hide a sports car from thieves, you don't put it on televised display in a lot of econoboxes.

Dont be such an idiot. Not all rookies are ready to play right off the bat. Just because you play good in the D-League doesn't mean your ready for the NBA.

It's like playing against 5 year olds after playing against friends at the Christmas party. Sure, it's fun, but the guy is not learning anything. It's just a big waste of time. A guy actually might regress playing against 5 year olds day after day. He doesn't have to do as much to dominate. After a few weeks, he gets back to playing with his friends. He struggles, because he has regressed from the long layoff from decent competition.

Dropping 30/15 a night is fun to watch, but he is playing against weaker talent than his college days. He may be better off squaring against other team's 2nd round picks or 2nd/3rd string players.

The Rockets next game is with the Bobcats. Morris might learn more from playing against 2nd stringer Derrick Brown(2nd year), than dropping another 30 pts/15 rebs on some poor D-league scrub.

What's the 411 on Willie Warren from Okla? Showed some nice flair on that dunk in the 3rd Q
