Markieff is not much taller, and he is doing pretty well down low.

Markieff plays the 4. Which is what Marcus should do.

Looking like a bust. How u.

Morris not even standing out in d league. RGV 20-14 on the season, 2-7 with Morris playing.

When was the last time a 14th pick was a difference maker.
He could still become a solid player. He had some good numbers before the ankle injury.

I’ve completely tempered my expectations on Morris. If he ends up surprising me, great, but I’m more excited and ready for D-Mo now.

2010 14th pick has made an impact. 2011 14th picknis causing his D league team to lose games.

Whole different story Pat was NBA ready and no identity confusion coming into the league.
Morris promised more talent at the 3, too many lottery picks riding the bench, and rookie mistakes did him no favor.

Does an iso Melo makes New York win games? No. And he isn't a Poor version's Melo.
    His role is to score.

The same guy who had 21 points 9 rebounds and 5 assists against our very own Houston Rockets about one year ago.

Rookie Melo carried league worst team the yr before into playoffs. Rookie Morris is on the way to costing RGV a playoff spot.

You're only as good as the guys you're playing with.

We saw what he did in the preseason, he'll be fine once he gets a shot!

Yeah I said he is no Melo. He might turn into a Al Harrington off the bench. He is not a bad scorer. He played close to 26 minutes which is not much. They are still trying to bring him back and he is not going full contact out there. I said earlier he plays only with 60 percent energy that is the reason he is not popular with McHale. Coach does not tolerate half assing.

The guys he is playing with were 18 and 7 without him in the lineup. 2 and 7 with him.

I don't think Morris is causing his team to lose games. He hasn't had a terrible game yet. Even tonight he was a solid contributor, and this was one of his worst games. At the same time I think he is still recovering from his ankle injury, and that is lowering his minutes and sapping his athleticism.

Like his 26 minutes decides if the teams is winning or getting beat.

    Willie Warren -22
    Johnson -14
    Damion Saunders -13
    Greg Smith - 13

and couple of others had worse stats than him.
Will Conroy was the only one with monster stats 14 pts 18 assts

    Try to watch the game
Canton had 58 pct three point shooting, 0.78 on the line
Vipers shot 30 pct from three, and 0.50 TF and were outrebounded by 7, major difference

    They shot better. Team failed.

An undrafted rookie carried the Reno Bighorns while on assignment last year. Reno was 13.7 pts per 100 possession better than opponent with said rookie, and only 2.3 pts better without him.

One would imagine someone with NBA future would dominate and not just look decent. Morris' stint in DL is looking more like Thabeet's.

I'm just saying, those guys are d-league players. And when someone is In and out of the lineup and you dont even know how long theyre gonna be there it's gonna screw with the teams chemistry. Not to mention he isn't down there to help the vipers make the playoffs, he's down there to get used to playing the 3.

Now I get you. You are reverse jinxing him. Good job!

    DD

again Morris is no Point Guard, his handles are mediocre.
He is a decent scorer, has decent to good post up game which he does not use often.
