NBA TV just stated that this game was the first time in NBA playoff history that only 4 players scored on one team.
we're breaking all kinds of records....worst game 7 loss in history...least amount of players to score....please, please don't let us go down in history as having 2 of the greatest players in the game and still not winning a championship....
It really doesn't matter, in the long run. I mean, who actually remembers this stuff. If the Rockets win the next game, I'm guessing pretty much every Rockets fan would forget this debacle and looking for series ending game 5. Look, however bad it was, it's still just one loss.
Cool! We have just witnessed history. Let's try to break the record next game and only have three players score!
What I remember needs to go back to 2 years ago when we lost one game in our home court 2-1 to Mav. Someone said that also... And we lost the whole freaking Round!!!
I just don't think you can watch players miss shot after shot after shot without benching them. At some point you have to bring in someone who might do something. If it were possible for Lucas to come in and break the defense to score 5 points, at the pace of the game, that could have altered the outcome. The defense might have been drawn away from McGrady and Yao enough to get them going.
NBA Playoff Record: Only 4 players Scored Franchise Playoff Records: Fewest Points Scored Fewest Field Goals made Fewest Points in a half
I just watched it........frekain BS!!! damn....this is sad. someone from the bench better step up next game!!
I think NBA TV just said that it was 1955 since any team has only had 4 players score. Can someone verify this? I wasn't listening closely.
I blame the GM for this. If Rox has the Colangelo as the GM, he would at least get a capable backup PG for the team. Right now, Rafer plays too many minutes.
