Dream actually only has 1 Quadruple Double. One of them was taken away which is total BS. Don't remember what it was but I believe they took away a rebound after the game and gave it to another player so he ended up with 9 rebounds.
That's the issue - health and longevity. There are many people with better stats per game and per season, but this dude never got hurt for 19 years. That was the unbeatable part.
When it is all said and done Lin will be the all time leader in number of coaches who marginalized and held back his true talents.
No one will ever get 11 rings like Bill. Won't happen. 100 points in a game, can't happen again. 72 - 10, can't even get close this type of winning %. Tmac's 13 in 33 seconds. How that happen is amazing.. NBA history. Doubt anyone can ever come back and get their team back into the game so quickly.
Laker's 33 game winning streak 1972 (Wilt, Elgin Baylor, Jerry West, Gail Goodrich) Celtics 40-1 home record for a season 1986 (Bird, Johnson, McHale, Parish with Walton off the bench)
i will respond to two of the examples in this thread. in my opinion hakeem's block record has zero chance of being broken by davis. yes he has a head start but davis is already missing a ton of games and his stats at this point do not correlate to ever getting close to hakeem. i will say that he probably wont even get to a 1000 of that record. and the other is the bulls 72-10 record, i do think someone eventually will be able to break that by 1-2 games. hell if harden would have stayed with the thunder (if that team had an owner that would have kept them together in a bigger market) they would have had a chance.
12 threes by an individual in a game. Many have put up 11, but I just do not see anybody breaking that unless Thompson or Curry come to Houston where they are allowed to shoot as many as they can to break that record haha
12 3's? Really? I would not be shocked if that record was broken today. 50ppg/25rpg for a season....now that's legit.
Stockton's career assist mark is in unreachable, I think. Moreso than Kareem's career points, or Hakeem's career blocks.
