Just because Kyrie was born in Australia or won the MVP in Fiba doesn't mean he's a global impact player. This is ridiculous. He's as american as it gets.
All the women scream for Stephen Curry for all of the awards because he is light skin with green eyes.
Well most award shows are just that, anyway. If it was just awards, the show would only be 30 minutes long. Everyone enjoys laughing and music so why not have so comedic and musical talents there as well? On a side note, that "Worth It" song is so horrible. Hear it on the radio at times and I cringe. I've seen some of Fifth Harmony's stuff early on and it was good with actual harmonies. Them performing that song tells me that they have sold out on what got them there in the first place. Lol everyone is wearing suits with basketball shoes. Those shoes probably cost close to what a nice pair of dress shoes cost anyway but it looks tacky as hell!
Hopefully this changes the media's lazy criteria and makes them realize the MVP award needs to go to the player who was truly the Most Valuable Player, not just the guy that they want to spin the narrative towards.
