Notice how the top two blue collared/hustle players are white

The distance traveled is largely in part due to the fact that he's 5th in the league in minutes per game.

Also, he's not even in the top 50 in average speed.

Sorry to be a downer, he's playing very well. And if he can start making his 3s at a decent clip again, he'll be an all-star caliber player.

Chandler is number one in distance, not in average speed.

Wow, and we wonder why Parsons struggles with defense the last couple seasons?

Playing so fast has its consequences. Having no energy to play solid D is one of those.

5 of the top 25 in average speed are Spurs. Go figure.

That just means they like to run around on the floor. Actually, top 3 in Distance per 48 minutes are all SAS bench players.

At first, I was surprised the Adelman's team didn't show up near the top because I thought a motion offense would make players move a lot. But I guess playing good rotation defense also requires a lot of moving.

These aren't stAts that mean anything except in when changes notably change the players performNce

For instance, if playe x performance drops when he goes over distance y in a gene then coaches know when to sit him. Similar to counting pitches

And he speed thing has little value in comparing players, as offense system and role plays a big part. It's meant to compare a player to his average to help pace him
