David Stern and Joey Crawford need to retire, this is a joke. Its gonna be Lakers vs Heat... for sometime
As long as Yao is healthy, Houston is easily the best team in the league. Hands down, a team with Yao is better than any other team. Houston's number one problem is his health.
Eh, growing up I always enjoyed the "Underdog" side of things. Was a bit strange, anytime I did a franchise (other than the Astros/Rockets/Titans ect.), I'd choose one of the worst teams, and try to build them up. This to me makes the NBA season a bit more exciting. Sure, a Heat/Lakers NBA Finals is a good possibility, but it'll keep my attention a lot more if the Rockets get put out. Always fun to pull for the under dog, and always fun to have a team you would love to see lose. Just my opinion.
The Minnesota Timberwolves just called and said hello. Spoiler It was a prank call, and they quickly got their phone number blocked by every team in the NBA.
What happened with Boston was in hindsight a perfect storm. They didn't just get veterans signing onto their team for cheap, they had a GREAT supporting cast including youngsters Rondo, Perkins, Davis, Powe; signed Posey for the MLE; and then after all that they got veterans Eddie House, Pollard, Cassell, and PJ Brown. Out of all those players only House was a fixture in the rotation throughout the season and only he and Brown really were difference makers in the playoffs. This idea that Miami can win a championship with 8 minimum players is preposterous. Especially with the kind of money being thrown around for even scrub level players this offseason. They won't be able to sign any but the most desperate veterans (Iverson? Kwame Brown? MOBLEY?).
go rockets **** heat!!dude u playing agaisnt brooks...martin...ariza...scola...and then imagine healthy yao ming dayum!!! i think the only teams currently can compete with heat is rockets and lakers...
Are we forgetting about OKC. I think they still have some moves to make and are still a team that has a lot of upside.
