    Just let em be.

All the main media talks about are several scenario's where the Lakers could get into the playoffs.

It's quite funny and sad tbh.

After consecutive wins against the Thunder and the Nets, maybe they meant blood red?

He also didn't point out that we are closer to the 7th and 6th seed than we are to the 8th and 9th seed

Magic just conceded that Houston is making the playoffs. Now he's looking at Utah and GSW lol.

Wow. Patrick Patterson was the difference between us making the playoffs and not making the playoffs? If thats your team, then you are SCREWED.

Amazing how superficial these analyses of the playoff picture is.

GS, Utah and Houston essentially have the same record, but everyone is still obsessing over the Lakers passing Houston and not even considering that perhaps one of those other teams might end up slipping out instead in the 5+ games it will take LA to even catch up with the pack.

Once Motie gets comfortable, we will be rolling out the coffin for LA.

Two words on why we will make the playoffs.

    James Harden.

So awesome to read about the Lakers MAYBE making the playoffs. The almighty LAKERS on the outside looking in. Too funny and I love it.

While I also agree it's great to see them in this position, I also believe that the NBA is better off with a "good" Lakers squad. I wouldn't mind seeing the Lakers and Clippers play each other in the playoffs, for example.

No reason the Lakers AND Rockets both can't be in the playoffs. Which team is more likely to slip: Utah or Golden State?

This team got better by getting rid of Patterson and Morris. Addition by subtraction. Even if trob does nothing, i like the trade now and for the future.

The one thing that scares the crap outa me if they were to be a lottey team is ..... Stern. I have a feeling they would end up with a top 3 pick .

I don't think they have any picks on them right now. Until 2017 I believe. Someone correct me if that's not accurate.

I'd bet on the Warriors falling out if the Lakers get hot. That team has been overrated all year. Allowed more points than they've scored yet like 8 games over .500 - luck.
