NBA GM's say Luis Scola and Shane Battier do the most with the least

    I dont know about wife wise. Got the most money with the least I agree. :grin:

    Isn't "does the most with the least" a rough translation of the kind of player Daryl Morey tries to identify and obtain? Efficient but underrated, probably because they don't seem athletic? So our guys should definitely show up on this list. And they do.

    I don't think most for least accurately describes these two, especially Shane. Not saying he's the quickest or strongest out there, but instead of focusing on what everyone else is doing, he choses to put his efforts towards doing the things that are effective that most players don't do. Scola less so, since there are few 4 out there that he's stronger then, faster then, could out jump etc....few people out hustle him.

    It's more, who gets it done in a different way. Really, the Rockets probably have the biggest collection of atypical players out there. Our whole starting lineup is atypical.

    A 7'6" center.
    A slow power forward who doesn't jump much.
    A gluey small forward who preps for games by studying his opponents shooting percentage from different spots on the floor.
    A 185lb 6'7" shooting guard.
    A sub 6' speedy PG.
