I mean OKC did acquire Taj Gibson and McDermott at the trade deadline and both of them are solid players. Westbrook puts up monster numbers, but does he really make his teammates better?
If Spurs somehow snatches the 1st seed away from the Warriors, forget Harden or Westbrook. Kahwi's gotta be the MVP.
Warriors are sliding as a team; Durant's hurt; and the Spurs have two games against GSW at their home in the future. Unlikely yes, but still possible.
Oh Spurs as a 1st seed is possible. I don't think it catapults Kawhi higher than Harden in the MVP convo.
Yo gotta be kidding me. Spurs finishing 1st in the whole league doesn't put Kawhi ahead of Harden? Kawhi's numbers are super efficient too.
You could tell by the look on cousins face coming out of the timeout that he 1. Did not approve of the play and 2. The play wasnt for him. So glad that his malcontent a55 isnt a Rocket.
He definitely makes Steve Adams better, and he's not hurting Kantar or Oladipo any, and does anyone think Roberson is an NBA starter? And didn't Gibson have a big game against POR, and McDermott against Utah? Give them some time to work them in consistently. I suppose you can spin that word anyway you want, but a coach is going to use the definition that focuses on Wins...and he's improved in that department since the Durant-injury year.
