Maybe. But what about the 2nd round? Washington just demolished them at home the other night. That could be their opponent.
Mavs up 15 but Westbrook is going to get the triple double again, he already has 7+5 with 2 minutes to play in the first half...obviously Adams and Gibson both with 1 rebound, this is really ridiculous.
Really, let's hope the Mavs blow them up early in the third quarter so Westbrick can't get 10 assists...smh
I'm a huge Lebron guy and even he can't fix this mess. The team has to many old guys on it surrounding there big three. There just bad at d and there is no switch to be flipped in the playoffs. There playing with fire and it's going to burn them. Even if your of the believe that they can/will flip the switch cole playoff time. You have to admit that Lebron has never been on a team playing ball this bad over a 2 month period. Lebron is in uncharted territory with this team. I'll be shocked if they make it out the east let alone the 2nd round.
Mavs up 50-35 at the half. Westbrook 8 boards...Oladipo 5...no other player with more than ONE rebound...lol
Will the Thunder play differently when the MVP race is over in the playoffs? Thunder can be a more dangerous team when they aren't all worrying about Westbrook's stats.
I just don't get all the fascination with Westbrook. Harden in 14-15 won 56 games with much worse supporting cast (due to Dwight missing half the season) than what Westbrook currently has. If OKC loses tonight, they for sure aren't winning 50 games this season. So, what's all the fuss about? Triple doubles? Harden didn't need all that triple doubles to lead his team to 56 wins with just bunch of role players. Why are we rewarding numbers that don't lead to wins. It's just a bad precedent.
So true. When will the rest of the media realize that his style of play isn't helping his teammates at all?? I mean it's not that surprising ... these are the same complaints people had about him when he had better talent around him too.
In the words of John Blair Bickerstaff, the Cavs are a broken team right now. "We're broken," Bickerstaff said he told his players in an unusually long session after the game. "Right now, we're a broken team. We all can use this break to figure out how we're going to impact change. If we don't want to impact change, we need to be made aware of that, too, and we'll go in a different direction. We can't continue to go out and play this way."
I saw that game, Washington will be tough, tougher than any other team in the East unless Jaylen Brown has a playoff mode. I'm saying they will win, but probably 9-3 or better. If they could get over chemistry drama last year, they can ru through the East again.
