Shved intrigued me during the Olympics but I wasn't sure if his game would translate to the NBA. That question has been answered. Considering he wasn't even drafted, the T-Wolves got a steal.
No weapons around him, one of the worst shooters & finishers in the League. Recipe for disaster. It's what Rondo would look like on a bad team.
Rubio is as good as a defender as Rondo is. Rebounding is overrated & unnecessary at the guard positions.
It took about 44 wins, 45 wins and 46 wins the past few years to make the playoffs in the West. If it's going to take 45 wins, the Lakers need to go 24-11 the rest of the way (after tonight's win). They can do it, but the way they've been playing, it's hard to see that right now. He has looked good tonight. His shooting percentages are pretty poor on the year though, but they will improve. The Rockets were rumored to be interested in him before: http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showthread.php?t=219936
Rubio is overrated. Rondo in no shape or form would play like Rubio in a bad team. Rondo is really good. Rubio is not.
He was never a top PG in this league, he was overhyped and overrated. He has a lot of talent no doubt but he's never been able to score and if his jump-shot and ability to finish at the rim remains as broken as it always has been he'll remain the PG version of James White. A flashy passer but worthless NBA player.
