Honestly, I believe the Spurs were on a mission last year and I don't believe anyone was going to beat them, even the Thunder. It's just time for them. Nothing is certain, but I'd be shocked if they win anything for the next decade and a half. And I still feel Leonard is a mere star, not a superstar. Great player who had a spectacular Finals, but he's not a game-changer in the mold of Lebron, Durant, Curry, Harden, or Davis.
You are aware the Spurs have had a phlethora of injuries righ to all their key players. Parker, Leonard, Mills, Splitter, Manu... Unless they're not healthy when the playoffs start, they're still the team to beat in the West with OKC.
Lebron has to be a force defensively if the Cavs are going to do anything. He's not even trying out there.
Hard decision...Cavs vs Heat or Guardians of the Galaxy with the kids...actually, not that hard. I'm taking them to a Sydney Kings game later on tonight...

Kobe seems to have some humor about it. Some self-awareness, acceptance? Maybe he's feeling some aches and pains.
WOW. Kevin Love looks completely lost in that offense. No set or design plays for him at all. Hardly any pick and pop situations to play to his strengths. Mostly, LeBron or Irving running ISO. What a waste of talent.
Nobody sees Leonard in the mold of LeBron, Durant, Curry, Harden or Davis. But he's still the Spurs MVP.
