LMAO. Kobe doing what he does best. Being selfish. I swear man, if his name was Tracy McGrady some posters would have thousands of more posts.
It's sad, Kobe still can contribute a lot to a team...but he rather just chuck up shots all day long. He still is in great shape for his age.
Kobe was 3/14, why the hell doesn't he just think man maybe I am having an off game and a Wes Johnson layup is better than me shooting another contested, off-balanced jumper.
The problem with Kobe is that he can not beat his defender off the dribble any more. So you live or die with the jump shot, and you usually die with it.
He is just selfish. Even Kobe fans have finally come around and realize the man sucks. They are stopping with the Tim Duncan excuse. Duncan plays an old man game. He is like that old dude at the gym who beats you with technique, banking in shots all game. He even dropped 50 pounds last year because he knew the game would not be kind to his knees as he got older.
WB with another beastly game. His J isn't going in as frequently, but his production per minute continue to be on another level.
What do you mean? Look at Duncan. Nobody talks about that dude. Guess what? He still has 5 more years on him left.
Look, I don't mind Kobe getting the ball in that position, but can't they at least call some sort of play to clear some space for him or set up an opening for someone else? They handed the ball to Kobe 40 feet from the basket in an iso with 6 seconds left. He couldn't get past Roberson and had to throw up a step back shot that he's been missing all night.
Why doesn't he realize the other team wants him to take that shot? He is shooting 21% on the night, lol, they want him to shoot any jumper. On the other hand, if Kobe makes that great look at the basket both ESPN and Kobe nuthuggers would be like OMFG KOBE GOAT, and the next 30 minutes would be about how great he is.
I mean Kobe gets away with playing like crap and missing so many shots because of his huge following and ESPN loves him. If he were T-Mac, this guy named tinman would have 50 posts in this thread about how terrible the chucker is and how he's a cancer to his team.
That's what makes Kobe Kobe. He's just old now. He isn't going to change. We all can make fun of him and what not but that's what used to make him the player he was. We're just watching a legend winding down his career. He simply isn't the player he once was. Once he admits it, he'll retire.
