I believe the Magic have covered the spread in each of their games (going to do so tonight for sure). Might not be an anomally (like Philly) either...

He's been playing really well this game but he def. lacks confidence in crunchtime.

Apples-to-oranges. The Rockets have almost always fielded competitive teams, even during seasons when they haven't contended. The Clippers have long been an NBA laughingstock, something that changed only recently. I remember Clutchfans being a popular site during the brief Olajuwon-Drexler-Barkley era. It's certainly become more popular since then, but the Rockets have always had a strong fanbase from what I've seen. If you can show me Clippers fans sporting Terry Dehere jerseys, I'll admit I'm wrong.

It's always easier to fire the head-coach than it is to overhaul the twelve-man roster. Be that as it may, my lasting impression from the Lionel Hollins era in Memphis is this: he made Zach Randolph care about playing defense, something no coach outside of Tom Izzo could accomplish.

It seems I've done that already:

It's good to see Scola playing and contributing on a contending team again.

I was watching the Pacers game...did Harris play? For the Magic to be playing like this without Tobias Harris is pretty impressive...and also discouraging at the same time for Magic fans who were looking forward to getting Wiggins :p

Some people just have oily skin. This is why he's so slippery off the dribble.

I'm not sure what you are arguing for. Obviously there are diehard fans of any franchise. And whenever a franchise gets good, there are going to be bandwagoners. It's not like fans in Houston are fundamentally different from fans in NY or LA. There are a lot less visible Cavs fans than there were a few years ago, but what the hell do you expect?

FYI, I've been a Clipper fan since the Manning/Smith/Norman years. We had a playoff series against the Rockets if you'll recall.
