He's MCW right now, add a jumper to that and you get a taller Tony Parker

    kinda

EDIT: I don't know what you would get, Lonzo isn't all that good at finishing inside, at least MCW had that going for a while.

The difference is Lonzo was efficient in college and shot over 40% from three, while MCW never was. Lonzo has a chance to develop that part of his game, while that was never a realistic possibility for MCW. But it's a fair comparison at this point in their careers.

Think a big part of Lonzo's funk is coming from confidence issues at this point. It's still really early into the first season for a really young guy, younger than me, and based on his backing down from that fight he's clearly not in a great place mentally.

He also shot 65% from the FT line in college, thats a sign that the wonky K-mart esque jumper ain't mechanically sound

He will probably have an NBA career, he's no Bennet or Thabeet. The hype was kinda unwarranted tho, I remember when Lonzo would guide the lakers to the playoffs, average a triple double, then take LeBron under his wing the next year.

Yeah but we really can't tell at this point. There's a ton of guys who developed jumpers late in their career - remember Lowry's first couple of seasons? There's way more cases of that compared to guards that could just never learn to shoot for whatever reason - guys like Rubio or MCW. K-Mart gives me hope that the wonky jumper can work, he was a deadeye since his release was so quick, as is Lonzo's.

If Avery could fix his jumper .. . . . .I'm sure Lonzo can

Spurs did not win anything until Avery could hit that shot from the elbow consistently

Wolves and Nuggets losing today was quite nice as a Rockets fan.
