11-25 Down 20 That is the opposite of owning Bledsoe. That is being owned. And immature? That's two nights in a row in the midst of a blowout Kobe has gotten up into someone's face and been a tad bit physical out of pure frustration. Immature on Kobe's part yes. But I don't think that's what you were implying.
Cheers. Sounds like Kobe has a new tactic this season - to get in guys' faces and niggle / harrass etc... Dwight yesterday, Bledsoe today...
I guess it could be seen as being admirable in that he is such a fierce competitor, never give up etc etc, but to do it when you're getting blown out of the building... dunno if that's admirable or laughable.
That's what I said. Nobody on the Lakers dare to take shots away from Kobe. He can chuck all he wants to chase his scoring record. I wouldn't want to be his teammate. It's just no fun.
kobe chucking that many cuz 1) thats kobe 2) lakers offense is so abysmal they got nothing but shooting long 2s theyr polar opposite to rockets in very bad ways i watched 1 game and 2 quarters of lakers games and start to feel not watching any more this season on the other hand russell westbrook may take that scoring title from kobe hes exciting as always
It is so counterproductive. I mean his teammates are not stars, but they are actual NBA players. Boozer can give you 15-20 points if he gets the ball. Lin averaged 12 points a game last year. He doesn't need to chuck quite this much. They are not going to be a good team, but its not like they are competitive with Kobe chucking either...
Dragic: 18 (6-12 FG), 5 & 2 in 26 mins. Bledsoe: 16 (5-7 FG), 6 & 9 in 26 mins. Thomas: 23 (9-11 FG), 1 & 3 in 21 mins.
Kobe is the only guy on that team who can get his own buckets. There's really no justification for calling him out on his high volume shooting this year. No one else "dare take shots away from Kobe" because they know they know they're a collective #2.
Brooks might need to play Westbrook 40+ minutes until Jackson/Lamb returns. That team is brutal, esp. with Ibaka being a no show. WB is a beast though.
That's exactly why Kobe took the big contract -- to make sure that the team would be full of nobodies. Okay, I am too cynical. I've always believed that the "who else can score?" excuse for ballhogging is just hot bs. It's lazy coaching. As Patience has pointed out, guys like Boozer and Lin are capable of scoring more if given the ball more. There is no need to give it to Kobe to let him do his thing on every possession with little intention of creating for the team offense.
