Their frontcourt would dominate ours for sure when Howard is out or does not have his best day. Two guys are too much

It's a perimeter-oriented league. You need good guard play to be in contention. Unless someone on New Orleans sacrifice for the better of the team, Davis' brilliance is going to mean much.

They need to unload either Tyreke or Gordon. Holiday has proven he can run the point, but having Gordon/Tyreke, 2 ball-dominant guards really limit each of them individually.

The Pelicans are a paint blocking machine... Man, it's fricken scary with Asik and Davis in the paint. How do you even get your shots in.

Even though its one game against a bad Magic team, I'm kinda regretting drafting Curry over him.

Yup, the true Twin Towers: 13 of the team's 15 blocks. Wowzers.

Exactly. Makes you wonder if Carlisle was 100% onboard with spending that much $$ for a decent playmaker with questionable defense.

We all know Parsons is a better player than what he's shown tonight, but not $14MM/yr better. Can't wait to see how this plays out for Cuban as the season unfolds. As for tonight, 7 min to go in the 4th qtr and still no signs of Parsons.

I am not saying we do not stand a chance against them. It is just going to very hard as displayed in preseason.

They were the only team giving the Rockets fits (Miami does not count).

It's one game. It's his first game with the big contract. It's not surprising he will struggle, esp. on the road v. the champions. Even the greatest players have bad games.

Give the guy at least 10 games before judging him.

Carlisle is a tough coach. If Parsons wants to be the best player he can be, Carlisle will bring it out of him.

Parsons and Dallas are going to be fine.

Size gives any team fits. If Davis/Asik can man the middle like they have tonight, teams will have trouble scoring. The bad thing is the Pelicans will struggle to score too.

Davis 1 block away from a triple double.

I thought Parsons was supposed to be able to guard PFs but Duncan just owned him.

Like what kind of stat line is this for the Pelicans...

58 reb, 16 ast, 6TO, 8 stl, and SIXTEEN BLKS.

    This is ridiculous.

My goodness Asik and Davis' stat lines are ridiculous. are they just going to give them all the rebounds?
