Washington might be mailing in the most embarrassing performance of the season. It's rivaling the Rockets @ Pelicans game.
Klay is really just a system jump shooter . . . Doesn't close games or create like harden. Don't see a difference on defense. Not being biased . . Or am i?
You're right that he doesn't create like Harden, but you're wrong that you don't see a difference in defense. Klay actually guards good players.

Yep. We'd be 3 up in the loss column and guaranteed no worse than a tie in the season series. It's getting tougher to keep up with Memphis though. They've won 8 of 9 and their schedule ain't that bad from here on out.
I don't understand the "hate" for Klay Thompson dude's been playing great and doing what he needs to do to win. So what if he starts it's not his fault his coach wants to make Harden angry.
The hate only started when people started putting him in the best SG conversation and continue to do so whilst Harden is putting up an MVP calibre season. I believe if he was getting credit simply as the outstanding shooter and offensive system player that he is many Rockets fans would probably have no issue with him, even if it's the media crowning him as the games best SG. Klay is representative of the negativity Harden receives for not being a 'two way' player. Because somehow being a two way player didn't matter when Dirk and Nash were collecting MVP's but now it's an issue. Just like, my opinion. I think the better SG debate is Jimmy Butler v Klay Thompson. Two great SG's, both below Hardens level.
Mostly generated by those media "experts" that said Klay was better than Harden before the season. And the blinded love for the Warriors. Klay is a great player, no doubt. But not in the same universe as Harden in terms of being one of the best player in the NBA, if not the best right now.
I immediate thought of the McHale comment on Lin a couple years ago. Something like, "29 points isn't as good if you have 9 turnovers as well." How does Rose not have one (1) assist?! LOLOL
How many in the media? The majority knows Harden is the best SG in the league. It's just homers on clutchfans on get tied up over a few idiots in the media. Harden is a top 5 player in the NBA. Klay is a top 20.
Klay is an interesting case, back a few years, you needed to put in some real solid years of great defense to be considered a good defender, now the media has created a narrative that an above average defender is actually a great defender, without him ever having been a great defender. He's gotten a reputation without ever being one, a new thing for the sports media, kudos to them.
The media wants to believe he's still a superstar so bad, but he's just not anymore. Doesn't have the freak athleticism that made him great. Still good and still very athletic, but just not elite.
