Hitting another person's arms is still dangerous. I think the best solution would be for the hitting of arms after the shot to be a non-shooting foul rather than a shooting foul but a foul nonetheless
Yeah, but their upcoming schedule is brutal. Even with Aldridge, they were looking at a drop in the standings. And this is a huge risk he's taking. If he winds up needing the surgery anyway, it could happen late enough in the season that he risks missing the postseason. Or he'll be forced to play through even more pain into April which could seal their fate in the first round.
Don't get how hitting the arm on the follow through is dangerous unless the shooter is trying to flop.
