Hell of a shot. What are the Blazers doing standing there waiting and watching well after the shot? I don't know if they're checking if there is any time left on the clock or what.
Here's how smart and well-coached the Blazers are: Two weeks ago up 3 on the Magic with time running out. Jameer Nelson and Josh McRoberts run a PnR at the 3-point line. Instead of switching, both guys go after McRoberts. Nelson drills the open 3 for the tie. It was comedy. Blazers still won in OT.
Wow... McHale would lose it. That's got to be on YouTube. (edit - yep) How the hell does Lillard go under that pick? It was like he was trying to cut off penetration. Speaking of Lillard, not sure if this is thread-worthy, but just saw this Lillard dunk on TNT's recap of that Blazers-Wizards game. Impressive.
Portland has won an absolute **** load of close games and OT games so far this season....just like we did back in 09-10 and Morey warned the fans that this was unsustainable. Of all the teams that we're competing with for the playoffs, I think they're the least dangerous, especially with the Mavs resurging ( God will Dallas just go the eff away?)
