I'd say Thomas and smaller assets like Zizic, Osman, probably a couple of guys like Shumpert and Thompson...maybe they'll also fire Lue. Spoiler Or maybe Lebron will ask for a trade to Houston
Would Charlotte move Kemba for Thomas and BKN first? Would Cleveland do that? Would it be worth it at all? SIL
I have no doubt Charlotte would do that in a heartbeat, they'd get a guaranteed top 8 pick if not top 5, and Thomas expiring...they would probably trade him to another team for smaller assets if possibile. I don't think they can get better value than that for Kemba. As for the Cavs, i don't think they will move that pick if they don't know what Lebron is going to do, and if they expect him to leave there's no way they trade it.
Cavs D has been giving up like 130 pts to minni, which is a good team, but not exactl explosive offensively. They win their games on the defensive end more often than offensively. Cavs D is a mess and OKC had a great shooting night. Nothing to see there.
They've averaged 112 a game over their last 15, which would put them 3rd in the NBA. 3rd out of 30 is pretty good.
The Cavs need to make the smart decision and rebuild. Let Lebron IT and love go for picks and young players with upside. I love Lebron I want him here in houston he’s the missing piece. But Lebron alone cant win anymore not with the warriors anyways. He’s gotta come play with a true top 5 player mvp caliber guy. It’s harden or Kawi. And houston is better because cp3 makes a a lot bigger impact than lamarcus. Rockets just have a better roster compared to the Spurs. Lebron going to the lakers and playing with Paul George is not good enough. I would love PG in houston but he’s not a franchise guy meaning somebody you can win a chip with him as your best player. Lebron at that point in his career we’re he needs to play with a guy who can carry him. Harden can do that.
Don’t give me „last 15 stats“. They never represent the truth. I bet there was a time in which austin rivers averaged 25 point „in his last x games“. Doesn’t mean he’s a 25ppg guy. However, u are right they are pretty good in off. Efficiency. They just don’t shoot enough threes to get 148 pts like okc did.
Is Marc Gasol on a huge decline or @what ?! As a BIG MAN shooting 41.9% from the field and 32.8% from three (jacking up over 4 attempts per game). Rebounding is also meh, although he was never a particularly good rebounder anyway.
