Are you implying that cf.net posters are majority out of high school? That's debatable but doubtful. I'd say well over 50% of our active posters are in high school or younger.

These guys are future franchise cornerstones. If there ever was a time to tank its next season.

 

There seems to be this "franchise cornerstone" every year. Can we tank for 15 years and fill the roster 1-15?

 

I just realized the kings added Aaron brooks. While he's no all star, he's still a factor to be reckoned with. If they just stopped being dumb with the ball, they could be a good team. That said, I can't say with a straight face that the rockets will be a better team than the kings. Sooooo when does the season start again?????

 

I don't necessarily disagree....we're probably bottom 2-3 on paper.....my issue is the perception that the franchise is screwing up. Fans think we've dugged ourselves into a hole, with bad contracts, not enough talent...basically they think we're a troubled franchise with a FO that doesn't know what they're doing.

In reality, we've acquired good young talent and picks,l assembled a complete team, all while maintaining flexibility...and this wasn't by luck, but a plan. How many teams don't pull something similar and go into a season with complete crap at one or two positions? We may not have all-star talent yet, but holes were plugged with really solid talent that may allow this team to still be competitive.

 

Its iamagm.. All those kids are all knicks, lakers, bulls and heat fans..

 

Nope, people just like to complain. I notice it a lot. The people who say "take risks" get mad when we take guys like Marcus Morris. The people who say "trade for veterans like Josh Smith" complain we're on a treadmill. And as you mentioned- some folks who advocate tanking will complain when we lose.

I'm sure if this was a Laker board the people who wanted a new point guard would have complained they weren't loyal to Fisher or if this was a Heat board they'd complain they didn't trade for Howard.

There's some people who cannot be pleased and exist only to gripe. C'est la vie.

We really aren't that good unless we have multiple rookies come up huge, which hardly, if ever, happens.

 

That's their opinion. The fact is, the Rockets roster has the most power forwards.

 

I don't think anyone is "Hating". There aren't that many teams that would swap rosters with us right now.
