NBA expected to pass three rule changes for 2018-19 season

They need to reevaluate the shooting foul calls. What the hell is considered shooting now? Instead of making unnecessary changes to the game like this. That shot clock change just ruin a lot of 4th quarters, leading to a lot of late comebacks from teams, close games equals more viewership/revenue for the league. It seems like it adds a lot more possessions to the overall game and increases the pace. Teams probably won't be able to effectively milk the clock late after offensive rebounds.

I do think this helps GSW more than anyone. Because it rushes good rebounding teams into bad shots leading to extra possessions on offense for good offensive teams. So even on nights the Warriors are struggling and losing late, they will have plenty of possessions for KD or Steph to get hot and comeback.

 

All 3 sound like obvious, slam-dunk good fixes.

For basketball purists, this is a bummer. I love seeing beasts like PJ Tucker or Chuck Hayes grind out games with offensive rebounding.

The league wants the Warriors to be a Dynasty, The rest of the league Teams is just a scam for fans it feels like.
MLB gives every Team an equal chance to win the World Series now than in the Past. Yankees winning 27 Titles in their history. Now it's all about best Pitching, Hitting, Defense instead of Favoritism. Which is Adam Silver, he is personally wrecking the League.

The funniest line of this ESPN reporter serving as a mouthpiece of the league is how this rule is in line with the league’s effort for players to be expressive on the court. Uhm...what?! If anything, the league’s trying to make sure players cannot express themselves.

I didn’t even know throughout most of league’s history it needed to be 51% white / black with a team colour, insanity...
