Lord, please give us long-suffering Puppies fans the #1 pick for once, even if it's in a crappy draft.

Though really, I'll be completely shocked if we get a top 2 pick. And then there's Clippergaddeon. :(

Good thing is that they announce the order backwards.

If we don't get the 14th pick on the first announcement, we will be in luck. It would make my year.

Biggest market in the top 5 is Washington. But I don't think they win it twice.

I really think that Stern hands it Sacramento this year. This is a team which is contemplating moving to Anaheim and a big market star (like Irving) can help that push.

I don't know tho. Stern doesn't have many interesting choices this year as he has had in previous years. Wouldn't be all that surprised if he gives it to Detroit tho.

We'll see. Should be interesting to see who he hands the top pick to this year as it is every year. I am hoping he decides to give it to Houston but given how much of a longshot we are, I doubt he does that.

    I got

    3. Cleveland
    2. Washington
    1. Sacramento

Don't think that Stern has ever given it to Sacto before and now that they are considering this move to Anaheim, there is a good chance.

Now Toronto is an interesting pick. Tho they won it recently and not sure how much Stern cares about Canada.

They seem to have a lot of good luck with their picks, and they're a big city and obviously they're the only one in Canada. However, as you mentioned it really depends on Stern's interest in Canada, and whether or not he trusts Coangelo to make a good pick.

I could see Sacramento, but I wonder if they might not get it, simply because it would look suspicious.

Lastly, if I'm Stern, I want Cleveland to get one of the top two picks, if Cleveland gets some young players, maybe they crack the playoffs in a couple of years. If I'm Stern, I'm salviating over a Lebron v. Cavs 7 game series in the first round.

I believe that the lottery is for the top 3 picks.

Every team has a chance of moving into the top 3.

Soooo if somebody else is announced to have the 14th pick, that means the Rockets are in the top 3.

they can get 1, .5% chance I think.
Then .6% for 2nd, and .7% for third.
