Timberwolves are dumb, they should draft Irving and trade Rubio; Kyrie shows much more potential than him at this point. Plus Rubio does not want to play in Minnesota and he is bad fit for the triangle.

Unfortunately I do not see Timberwolves pick being realistic for Rockets anymore now seeing what they reportedly want. Lowry is a starting caliber PG; no point in bringing young point guard to mentor successor. Types of player they are looking for are Nash, Miller, Billups (all retiring in couple years).

hmm..if McHale is hired by the Rox and the TWolves signed Rubio, we can expect a trade with their top pick.

Well I don't know what "good" veteran point guard and "good" center would be available for the #1 pick... especially in this draft. I think Minnesota may end up SOL.

    Would you do Lowery/Martin/Bud

    for

    Minnesota's pick (1-4) and Rubio

... Minnesota would be in the playoffs next year... Rockets would potentially add two young elite talents...

I would trade Martin/Bud/Hill for Minny's 1st round pick wesley johnson and let minny eat the diffenfence in the salary they have enough cap room to spare.

all this talk about not resigning chuck just makes me look at hill and wonder why do we have to loose a hard working player when we have hill as a trade chip lets use him now.

No lol, and we wouldn't have to give up Lowry. We could get the pick for Martin + our pick + any young player on our roster not named Patterson.

I think Derrick Williams is easily worth Martin + whatever but not Martin and Lowry, that's just crazy. And Rubio is trash so let's not even count him in any deal.

I was just posting about this in the Draft section. I agree with some posters who want to trade Kevin Martin to the wolves for their pick if it's a top 4 or 5. Then draft Enes Kanter or trade back a spot or two and draft Bismack Biyombo.

Edit-But my ultimate pipe dream is to draft Kanter and see if Sacramento will trade Demarcus Cousins straight up for him. Hopefully Morey can sell the "Kanter is much more coachable than Demarcus" angle.

    Every year this happens.

But the only shot/slots that we can pick at is either pick 1, pick 2, pick 3 or pick 14.

    That is it.

I don't want to hear or see anyone type something crazy like maybe if we land the number 8 pick. I sure as hell will hear it on the radio.

The Draft only determines the first three picks.

    That's all.

As much as i would love to trade up and try to get Kanter and/or Biyombo, i don't think we should worry about it too much. As it stands, this team only needs to add size in the paint area and there are still some legitimate big men in the late 1st and early 2nd rounds ( Jordan williams, Jeremy Tyler, Greg Smith. This draft has enough talent to where we could probably get two of those guys and still get a decent two way SF ( Singleton, Davis Bertans, Jereme Richmond, Marshon Brooks, T. Leslie, D. Liggins, J. Butler).

just wonderin', is there a chance we get the number 2 or 3 pick after the lottery? or the lottery is just gettin the luck in picking the number 1 pick or the possibility of staying put?
