    I've updated the link from a Yahoo Contributor Network article to the actual source of this -- a Sam Smith column talking about trade ideas.

    It is pure speculation by Smith.

    Rondo doesn't fit this team at all, at least not in the offensive system we run.

    If you get Rondo then Harden needs to be an off the ball, catch and shoot type player. Something he would excel at, but not something he probably is interested in.

    We need shooters. I don't know why people are so willing to spend $$$ for an all star PG.

    IMO, PGs don't win championships.

    He was hardly important that season. They actually got worse the more his usage increased.

    Anyway this is a non story. Celtics won't trade.

    WHY would the Rockets need a point guard, let alone Rondo?? Point guard is the least of our problems.

    We're getting atrocious shooting from the wings (especially the 3 spot) and we don't have a starting caliber power forward.

    Trading Asik for Rondo would only compound this team's problems, not repair them.

    My only concern with this trade is Rondo's 3 pt shooting. With Dwight in the middle we sort of need a PG who can hit jumpers.

    Rajon 11.1 APG last season. Doesn't sound too bad to me. We have shooters. We need assists.

    We need a 3&D guy and hopefully a stretch 4 that can defend.

    Lin and Beverley are fine. Especially if Lin keeps shooting like he has.

    Harden wants the rock; as does Lin. Rondo doesn't shoot the three. Yeah, this makes perfect sense.

    We have shooters? Since when. The fact that Lin is out best shooter right now shows that this team lacks shooters.
