IF Ariza brings his 'contract-appealing year' production and not quite the one he had last time with the Rockets, half of this can be forgiven (letting Parsons walk). Obviously not being able to sign the big fish this summer has it's pains but we're not the only team to be missing out.
The problem is, if we fizzle out and crash in the first round again, the mob with the torches and pitchforks will grow even bigger come playoffs/off season next year.

It's much too early to be shouting for Morey's head, there'll still be a few pieces to fit in this off season and we've got the entire coming season to prove it'll work. OPTIMISM needed Red Nation !

No, I'm pretty sure if Lillard does not make that shot we win game 6 and then host game 7 in Houston.

Now if you want to say that CP25 should have been on the bench because he was too slow and had glue on his shoes then fine. But I think that is a bit of a reach. I mean if he wants to be paid a max deal he should not be on the bench due to his slowness and lack of defense, he needs to make that defensive play and not leave their go to guy wide open with a clean look at a game winning shot at the last second. Otherwise he should be banished to Dallas and forced to party with Mark Cuban.

point of the article, you can't keep swinging for the fences every summer just cause you hit a couple of lucky HR with harden and howard. Besides swapping parsons for ariza, we basically unloaded bunch of bad contract but key bench players. Are we seriously counting on an unproven canaan to filll i lin's shoes? And who's gonna replace asik?

this ... if you think longer you will realize it is in the end a fault of strategy and philosophy.
A lot people do not see McHale as a coach who will move the Rockets squad forward but we still keep him going, still keep his playing style ( or it is Moreys?)
whatever sometimes you need the player for a champion caliber team and a coach who can actually coach champions, period.

    Morey has been loyal.

    To McHale.

And now Ariza (traded him, and just got him back. Will probably do it again).
