Kawhi is not even on Danello Gallerinonari level, 17 and 6. LOL Galleo can put up those numbers.

17 and 6 is Kyle Kumza and Andrew Wiggin level and Harrison Barnes #.

I say Kawhi should be on the 11th team behind Danello, chief Wiggin, and Barnes

Boogie is better than kawhi if Durant and klay are healthy in June.
    boogie 21, 11, 3
    Kawhi 17, 6, 2

Boogie stats are better than 10 players in all teams. He is no team.

that's why the list names no sense if you put Melo AND Kawhaii in there. Kawhaii does not have the longevity and stats to back it up, but has the ring.

Melo doesn't even have the stats that Cousins have. Cousins made 2 NBA 2nd team. Melo made 1 3rd NBA team and 1 2nd All NBA.

So if you put Melo in there, you have to take out Kawhaii and put in Cousins.

If you put in Kawhaii, there you're saying Championship is the only thing that count, so you then have to take out Melo and put in Raymond the Donkey Green in there.

Wtf, Dwight first team? Look at basketball reference. His prime years were mostly in the previous decade. He definitely deserves 3rd team all-decade for 2000-2009 (1st team is Shaq, 2nd team is Yao).

As for this decade? His drop off started in 2012. Even when he dropped off, his numbers look good enough to make an all-decade team... but not the first team! hell no. I could argue he could make the 2nd team in place of LMA, but with LMA's consistency, you could also argue to drop Dwight down to 3rd team.

Either way he deserved 3rd team, but the media hate is strong against him.

The 1st 4 are easy. No one can debate these guys. But which one of these 4 would be player of the DECADE?

G - Stephen Curry - 2 times MVP, pretty changed the game to 3 point shooting
G - James Harden- 3 time MVP if he wasn't cheated. Just had one of the greatest offensive season in the history of the NBA
FC - LeBron James- His name is the KING. Enough said
FC - Kevin Durant- Unstopable scorer. A snake. A 2 times Finals MVP. Would be a 3 Time Final MVP if not for injury

Really ? What about Timmy , Parker and Ginobili all being on his first championship team …. They probably all end up in the HOF.

Danny Green was also on that team.

I guess it looks about right. Dwight would be the big question there as his dominance was going into the 2010s but he still was an all-nba center as he started to get the back problems and inflated ego that made him think he could be Kareem and Hakeem in the post. Still, there is really no alternative to him for that decade too...Marc Gasol? Deandre Jordan? Tyson Chandler? Yeah...the center position was super weak at the time and Dwight really was a top 5 player for most of his years in Orlando.

EDIT: No disrespect to Marc Gasol too, he was just never a top 5 player MVP candidate.

I will take Barkley or Karl over McHale for 80s team.

Barkley and Malone made 4 to 5 all Nba despite starting playing mid 80s

    McHale 1 all Nba

Guess that armpit and 3 rings are difference

I love this more just for having Hakeem acknowledged. I'm not sold on Howard but definitely not on Kawhi.

The NBA.com teams had way too much regency bias.

I still put Kobe in front of him. Not a knock on Harden as I'm already ranking him ahead of Jerry West, Dwyane Wade, Clyde Drexler, etc. When James win his first title I'll slide him into #2.

If you actually watched the playoffs multiple guys played at all star level for them to win. If it wasnt for Gasol turning back the clock they would not be there.

Gasol had clutch moments for sure, but let's not get carried away here. In the playoffs he had 9 points and 6 boards a game on 42% shooting. Some big threes (and great efficiency there at 38%) and good D, but that's not exactly All-Star level contribution.

Congrats to Harden who has definitely earned his spot there. My question is how the heck did Kawhit make the team? What has he done other than beat a Warriors team missing two of their best players?

    against the Warriors,

Kawhi ONLY averaged 28.5 points per game scoring only a quarter of Raptors total
with 5 other raptors averaging in double figures
    Pascal with 20, Lowry with 16, VanFleet 14, Gasol 12, Ibaka 11

while Harden averaged 25 points per game scoring a third of Rockets total
with ONLY 3 other rockets averaging in double figures
    Ego 20, Cp3 17, Tucker 11
