wouldn't making shoes lighter create an advantage too? Seems like they do that all the time.

Instead of banning the shoes, why doesn't the NBA force all players to wear these? It might be more entertaining. ;)

Those look horrible... it's like buying some cheap $30 shoes in the early 90's.

    Oh and..

I'm sure it's much more complex than this but that is basically what it does. It must really increase your vertical for the NBA to ban them.

Why don't you dish out the $300 to try a pair, then report back to us :)

300 dollars for shoes? I'm not crazy, I'll let some rich person buy them instead. :p

They should wear them in the dunk contest.

lol this is like 2k11 with all the Jordan shoes you can unlock that boost certain attributes. There's one shoe that boosts any players' vertical if unlocked. I'd like to see Budinger with these shoes on!

FSN Sports Science needs to test these shoes out. Have real NBA athletes that are the leagues elite test them like J-Rich, DeMar Derozan, Rudy Gay, and Dwight Howard. And on the 1st review the writer says something about two-feet jumpers getting the best results. Bud usually jumps highest off two feet. I'd like to see him test them with the others. That'll be something I'll definitely tune into to watch.

They should get Earl Boykins to try them out, I know he is pretty close to being able to dunk.

Good link, it says "The Scienec of Jumpology" ...more like the science of making up words and calling it science.
