There's nothing realistic about that. It is just lazy/half-ass game design. In a game that is full of it. Just check out the menus. I don't even mind coming off the bench, but being criticized/penalized for a 31pt 18 rb game is ridiculous.
Same thing happened to me after I scored 66 points and had like 9 steals. I think it's just part of the story.

How long did you play to get the starting job? I'm averaging 42 points, 4 rbs, 3 ast, 4 steals and 1 block a game and I'm still coming off the bench behind Kyrie Irving.
Yes! whenever I run a play/pick and pop with Love they just never seem to shoot even if they're open. Less than like 15 games. And i started off REALLY slow as well, my minutes actually got dropped before I starting climbing up that ladder so to speak. but I hit a few gamewinners and Rubio was playing like ass. My season averages are like 15/3/2, shooting 55% and 42% from 3.
What difficulty are you guys playing on for my career. Default is pro but with a poor rating initially it's tough so I kept it on pro. Will prob go up as soon as my guy can actually score.
I had these blocking fouls. I do that Chandler Parsons pump fake and try to move only for a blocking foul to get called. Annoying....

I believe so, I remember upping it and getting more points in an earlier version. Even on mygm I'm on allstar, it's a weird a few years ago I would dominate on hof. Guess I don't play as much now
Same exact thing happened to same, and i scored 40 points in like 15 mins shooting 60%. I haven't played mycareer since and i think i'm done with it, i kept getting my mins reduced, they didn't make me a starter even though i was averaging 25-5-5 in over 15 games, my teammate started a fight with me in scrimmage because i wouldn't wear a clown nose during press conferences?? The mode has been a let down, they almost had it though... oh well hope they fix it for 2k15. On a separate note, in my time off from 2k14 iv been playing killzone shadow fall, great game really fun.
you get 2x the VC if you play on HOF, so during key games you can get 4x which can accumulate up to a lot of vc
Guys on XBone, I am having this issue where when I try to rename my "MyPlayer" the game automatically kicks me out to the home menu and quits the game. Anyone else having this issue or found a fix for XBone?
BUMP Also, I got a technical 2 times the last 2 days for cursing while playing the game. Monte did some BS crossover layup and I said Fkin Monte Ellis! and I received a technical. they shot a free throw and I lost possession of the ball. The game told me I received a technical for using foul language.
Really intresting moment earlier, there was a team scrimmage and I was playing in it, then I drive to the basket and get fouled by Kevin Martin really hard. My guy and him go face to face and the assistant has to come separate it. It's funny because I'm suppose to be picking up his luggage too lol. And then in the next game one of my teammates got fouled hard, it gave me the option to either stand up for him or let it go. I stood up for him and got tossed and suspended for a game lol
I can't tell if this game is worth getting or not based on the comments. A lot of negative comments. Is it the best basketball game ever available on a console that just needs some updates to tweak it down the road? Or, is it that bad that it should be avoided?
