goto main menu/options/gameplay/ change to 12 minutes, then create a myplayer and it will be 12 minutes.
1) Don't say the word "ish".... 2) When you boot up the game, it'll always let you know if there's an xbox live update for the game your playing. With 2k, it's always for roster updates and minor patches they make. So if you don't get that update notification, then you're up to date on the roster. Also...the NBA Today feature is another way that keeps your roster up to date. If you're actively connected to Xbox Live, it should just do it for you.

My guy hit a 74 rating just before reaching the finals with the Thunder in his 3rd year, and we won it 4-1 against the Nets The last game was tough, but my stellar defence and timely inside buckets pulled us through for the win. My PF guy was average throughout the playoffs, but that last game I got man of the match. With 21 points 14 rebounds, 2 assists, and 1 block With 6 min quarters. Hardest games of the playoffs were against the Nuggets in the Conference Finals - Javale Mcgee is a handful! I love 2K13 for more open gameplay. In 2K12, if you weren't playing PG, good luck playing properly and having fun! Kinda funny that I could have been drafted by the Nuggets, but I gave them a bad interview. Would have had a title in my rookie year....
What system are you on and what size hard drive do you have? I think that has something to do with the glitch.
I love the My Career. They've definitely improved it a lot. No more "You're a SF? Nope, you're going to play PF 90% of the time" junk. Teams are actually kind of organized. And the Twitter feed and GM thing are interesting. The only complaint I have are the drills. I don't understand why they changed them. If you bother to keep the awards the same, then it just encourages doing the easier ones (Atw, screen and read) instead.
I made a SF with 226 lbs. and I'm getting half my mins at PF, I wish I made the guy slimmer. Agreed with the drills, screen and read is the easiest and shortest one but with no special incentive I wish I could just skip it, drills just got made into a boring chore.
Same here, I made a 6'5 pg and get put mostly at SG, mostly because I'm stuck behind Lowry and Calderón. 4gb XBox. Was thinking about buying a 250 gb hard drive, but it was 50 50 between people saying it works and doesn't.
