Hey all, apologies if this is in the wrong forum. I'm bored on a Sunday afternoon and want to run a season in 2K12 where I have the teams draft players from NBA history. Because the 2K draft system sucks, I want to enlist your help to do it. If you guys could help me draft so I can do it manually, that would be awesome. I'll put up a format so it's easy to copy and paste. Choose the player, and the year that you think is the player's best (or fits the team the best). Just copy and paste the poster above you and choose a player. I will also update you on the progress of the season as it plays along.

I randomized draft order. Also note this is serpentine style, so the Lakers will have the first pick of the second round. Hope this is a cool thing to see, especially with full 12 man rosters.

    I'll start:

    Suns - '93 Jordan,
    Knicks -
    Mavs -
    Nuggets -
    Pistons -
    Kings -
    Spurs -
    Pacers -
    Celtics -
    Nets -
    Rockets -
    Thunder -
    Trail Blazers -
    Bobcats -
    Hawks -
    Grizzlies -
    Bucks -
    Bulls -
    Jazz -
    Wizards -
    T-Wolves -
    Raptors -
    Clippers -
    Magic -
    Warriors -
    Heat -
    Cavs -
    76ers -
    Hornets -
    Lakers -

Yeah I've checked that out, definitely helps. I think I might do the first few rounds and then post what I've done, then have people help me from there. Where I'm having a tough time deciding is the role players and such, especially in a 30 team draft. Does a team draft a 1999 Glenn Robinson or a 2000 Michael Finley for example in the last few rounds? I want this to be a massive draft that ends up with some really cool teams.

I would take Shaq in his prime over Lebron. Lebron might become one of the greatest but he isnt there yet. If you are going by potential then Lebron would probably be over Kobe.

    thats my opinion.

just saw that you are only taking the players in their prime. I still would pick Shaq over Lebron.

The draft should be serpentine in selection order. The teams in the bottom half should have no chance at all
