Here's to hoping that if they do make a trade it snowballs into a larger deal. Darko too is just as frustrated at D'Antoni and the Knicks.

Tell his agent to move to Jersey if the rent's too high.

When Nate Robinson was drafted he was widely seen as an excellent fit into the Mike D'Antoni/Suns offense. Maybe some other things going on we dont see like a coach/player ego clash. Nate has been an adequate player for them. Chris Duhon is the Knick's Rafer Alston, TERRIBLE FG % (.357). Really putting in Nate for Duhon would be kinda like an in-team Kyle Lowry/Brooks for Rafer swap.
I know what he's saying, vet aside-rookie in. Though Darko and Landry are the SAME age....And he's saying you might as WELL play every scrub on the team and develop them, SCREW this crap let me go.

Darko's right, should try to enjoy the game. No shame in him playing in Europe.

For a so called players coach, D'antoni is weird. He played Jonathan Bender who hasn't played in 4 years and was only signed last week. Bender had a great game but Nate must be pissed that Bender gets playing time and he doesn't. I don't blame him for wanting out of NY, question is who wants him.

    Whoopee!

Darko should go back to Europe and Nate Robinson needs to go somewhere to play this year so he can (try to) get more than a one-year minimum contract next season.

I wouldn't exactly call D'Antoni a player's coach. He plays very tight rotations and if you aren't one of his main guys, he isn't necessarily all that likable. Players like his style of play more than they like him.

Has Robinson played since the shooting at the wrong goal incident?

If not that is pretty petty.

Heat are unhappy with their PG situation and have the TE to be able to trade for Robinson's BYC deal.

If only the Knicks were willing to deal Mobley's insured contract...

McGrady for Mobley + Darko + Robinson
    Robinson to Miami (TE)
Rockets get Mobley + Darko + $4M TE

That's a horrible deal...I'd rather just keep him and wait after all he may start playing decent and up his trade value down the road.

Rockets would be getting more valuable trade assets in return.

At the trade deadline, Rockets can do something like this...
Two concurrent trades with the same team:
    1. Mobley's insured contract for salary dumped star player
    2. TE for the Jackie Butler type salary dump as a trade sweetner

Wow, Nate Robinson not getting playing time and Darko to Europe? How badly do the Knicks suck. I thought Nate was a good PG for his size and Darko was playing well with Orlando and Memphis.

Of course, this is the same team that stonewalled Stephon Marburry, drafted Mike Sweatney and thinks they are going to sign LeBron James. lmao.

If you're into the on/off court +/- stat ( I dont treat 82games.com as the ultimate identifier in ANY way). But it shows a deceprency between Nate and Chris Duhon. Really it shows Duhon sucks, and Nate's averageness beats Duhon's suckiness like I commented earlier.

Darko's +/- has showed him to be not good or bad but serviceable the past couple years like you mentioned. +/- here better than Marc Gasol's for what its worth
    http://www.82games.com/0809/0809MEM.HTM

So the stat support the opinions. Decent to serviceable players not getting playing time.

What's the logic behind this deal again? More pointedly, why do we want/need Darko?

If we are indeed gonna trade T-Mac then this is not the beneficial trade for us.

+1 morey can get at least 1 or 2 young rotational players for mac, not darko, and not nate. no thanks. not interested in anyone from the knicks, there's a reason why they suck. they have a good coach... so that should tell you something.

Pity for Nate. Thought he was a good player and scoring option off the bench even if his actions can be boneheaded at times.

Darko...meanwhile, was a mistake right from the start. Never knew what Dumars saw in him. Even watching his scouting vids, he looked like just another soft Euro 7-footer with decent skills.
