Im watching Steve Francis, hes finally started the last 5 games and hes been averaging about 25 ppg. Buyout? Rockets? Dreaming?
He has found his niche and is a very good player. 9ppg on good shooting and 40+% from 3pt land. And Sam Fisher thought he would never average 40% shooting for a year, much less he is above that for his career. BOOYAH !!! DD
I watched the game tonight and Boki was playing well. He also had a couple of nice passes. Shame we traded him.
its all about being in the right system. i'll always root for him after he owned karl malone with that phat dunk in his grill. im glad he's doing well and i hope he lights it up in the playoffs.
FINALLY Nachbar gets it. It just took him FIVE YEARS. He just needed A LOT of game time to fully adjust to NBA type play and get his confidence. He would still be here in Houston if he played this way when we initially got him. Not every team has the ability to nurture players along. Nachbar just needed "on court time" and the Rockets just couldn't give it to him. He got a lot of time on some injury depleted teams in New Orleans and NJ.
Boki...man, he was on fire...I liked him and agree this wasn't the system for him to flourish...However, if given the right opportunity, as in NJ, it shows he can ball...
Maybe. Or maybe things just weren't "right" in Houston. His defense was not - and is not - up to JVG's standards. No matter how much promise he showed on offense in practice, he was never going to get a meaningful opportunity without better D. Doesn't mean JVG is in error - just a philosophical decision.
Boki is doing well. Hit a few shots, had some nice passes but Kidd missed wide open 3s. And Boki is guarding Bosh !!! Boki is doing it all.
