Here are a few pics I took before the game: Yao looking funny. The Chinese NT team. Guess which one is Yao? The Chinese NT team and the backs of the USA team. Had a few other pics that probably isn't worth posting.. My quick thoughts of the game. Yao needs to work on his endurance, strength, post moves, rebounding(boxing out etc), protecting the ball, and probably a few other minor things. Most of the above can be worked on with coaching so no worries. What Yao did provide was decent offense(good touch), great passing abilities, blocks (6), and a defensive presence. With Yao in the game, it was actually pretty close. Could have been better if they went to Yao every time down the court but oh well. Cheers
Thanks for the pics Tech. Look how disciplined the Chinese team stands as opposed to the U.S. They are all in a straight line, most with their hands behind their backs. I'm glad the U.S. whooped China, but I'm also glad that Yao played decently and didn't seem to back down from pressure or the "beating" he was SUPPOSED to get, according to Ben Wallace. Is it me, or does Yao always have some insightful comment to give during brief interviews of the action. He also talks a little smack ( in some-what of a distinguished manner) as evidenced by some after the game reports on ESPN.com and sportingnews. In the last picture Elton Brand is joking to, I think Paul Pierce..... "That's one big Chinese dude, ya heard?"
Techie: Thanks for the pics. I reduced their width so they would fit in the BBS window. Would it be possible for you to make smaller versions. The size of these really slows things down. If need be, I'd be happy to do that for you. Thanks again!
