Just a small update: my mom is down to one liter of oxygen even when she's walking and she's probably going to go off oxygen completely in the next few days. In other words she's done made a rapid recovery. It's unbelievable how fast she came back. So this tells me that there's a possibility that the permanent damage that people are talking about isn't always the case when it comes to your lungs. We are learning so much more about this virus.
Congratulations What! I am very happy to hear the news! I wish all the best to your mother. Speedy recovery
Has your mom ever been affected with some symptoms like this with any other illness, or is this a totally new thing for her?
This is indeed good news! I'm very happy for you and yours. My sister in Chicago has tested positive for Covid-19 antibodies which means she's had it and was able to ride it out back in March. She thought all she had was just a bad case of the flu. She's signed up to donate plasma for others who are still suffering from Covid. She ended up going to a private clinic to get tested which cost her $250.
