My Paycheck Bounced- need advice

I know in NYC if someone writes you a check over 2 grand, and it bounces, its larceny. They owe you the amount of the check, plus a penalty, plus they can go to jail.

The UPS Store wrote me a bad check for $2200. I threatened him with the cops, and my money showed up.

You should check the laws in Texas.
