My night with the Rockets in Memphis 10/7/15 : pic intensive

I live in Nashville, TN and got some floor seats to last night's game in Memphis. I've been a Rockets fan for about 35 years since I was a little boy. I've always wondered what it would be like to sit the bench like one of the team and just mess around be part of the game.
When we got to our seat I was shocked at how close my seats were to the players. It was a fun filled night listening in to their personal jokes, comments, and commentary on other players. I also chatted with Dwight most of the 4th and Ariza and Brewer a little bit as well. I literally couldn't put my feet forward because Dwight had his iced legs extended under my chair a little bit.
Then at the end I saw my chance and went for the Holy Grail. Harden is a little more aloof not quite so personal to the fans as some of the other guys.
SO without further delay here is some pics of my favorite nights ever! I joked with and laughed and pretended I was about to be called down the line!

No..but as they were announcing I asked Beverly if he was 100% and he said yes

 

So here is some tidbits I can remember

Brewer talked about his family just 2.5 hours away and they always come to Memphis games.

Dwight was the talker..
He brought up a fan drinking beer and said man that stuff is bad for you.."don't you wanna live longer?" Ariza then pointed out he likes Corona "that's the one that goes thru you"

After playing quite a bit dwight sat back down.. and said "man they lied to us and said we were playing 6 minutes tonight"

To quote a clutchfan "guys dwight is not looking so good these days" meaning . If you see that pile of tiles is for him to sit on for his back. He immediately iced both knees and had a fan help him up after each timeout. He joked about it but truth is there. He and brewer were mentioning that the rockets have 20 back to backs this year. The closest Team other than 2 others is 14 back to backs.

They immediately handed dwight an iPad with his previous minutes play when he was benched to review. I also thought he didn't look cut as normal..kinda smooth

Once on a timeout dwight looked up and sighed like he wasn't getting up and I said " dude you gotta get up its the right thing to do " ha ha

When someone airballed a three. .we all just looked around little embarrassed and the crowd was lauging. .Dwight yelled out "preseason"
