You have yet to respond to what I said in post 87. I even repeated it in subsequent posts. You aren’t sure what I said because in actuality you are every insult that you’ve hurled at me. Perhaps you should try following along better. This entire back and forth has been you cowardly dancing around that and thus here we are. You initiated our dialogue both times and you even made the decision to keep responding to me even after I stated that I was done talking to you. You’re an immature, dishonest person too insecure to let it go and you have the audacity to portray me as the one keeping this up? Do you even know what you type after 5 minutes passes? Just a mind blowing display of stupidity and you’re too simple minded to realize it. Please block me as it would fit your weak minded, cowardly mentality...
Total BS. I'm not allowed to do at my work and wont support a company who allows their employees to do this at their work. It's really that simple. A workplace related issue and nothing more.
What’s up with you guys not answering the question? Would you or would you not have a problem with ppl supporting you or your wife in either scenario? Please lie to us and tell us you’d be upset at ppl for standing up for you or your wife. Lol at you acting like your job has policies against taking a knee or a moment of silence or wearing a pin for solidarity. If my posts have no substance y’all should be able to shut them down with ease but y’all can’t even address what I say. It’s amusing. Hit dogs gonna holler though...
Yeah I know, but I figured I'd do my best to ensure that I was fair with him anyway. I'm not sure what you think you said in that post that is worthy of an actual response, but I'll play along kiddo. Here goes Starting off strong, with an over the top comment worthy of laughter....but no actual substance. This is the beginning of your false narrative when it comes to me. I don't have "contempt" for black players around the league. I have "contempt" for stupid players around the league regardless of their race. Continuing the stupidity, I'm not a bigot and I don't cheer for any person I "hate"....so again, you are drooling all over yourself with this line of thinking. Players are "idiots" for protesting a false narratvie, yes. I've never said otherwise. Again, you do realize that the kneeling BS was started to protest a black man shooting a criminal armed with a stolen gun right? That's "the cause". I think anyone who realizes that and still "supports the cause" is unintelligent, but I think far more people who "support the cause" are merely ignorant. You finish strong by accusing the entire board of being the KKK and ask why I'm still allowed to post here despite the obvious answer being that I haven't broken any rules. There you go kiddo, I responded to every part of your unhinged rambling BS. Hopefully that's the end of it.
There's certainly smoke but I have no idea. What I can't shake is the family's undying affection for Brian Cushing, a nice player who was busted twice for PEDs and has been an unfortunate shell of his former self for years. He'll be in their Ring of Honor; doesn't deserve it but he'll get in. It's weird.
It's not really weird, he was the heart and soul of the Texans defense almost every season he was with the team. There's no question that injuries derailed his career, but you shouldn't downplay how important he was to the defense based on injury issues or getting busted for PED's, this is football we're talking about, not baseball. The PED witch hunt isn't the same when it comes to football because football fans are a little bit more realistic when it comes to knowing that all the players are taking them and always have been. It is absolutely the time to walk away from him because like you said he's a shell of his former self, but that doesn't diminish the importance to the team he once had.
Exactly, all you need to know. Companies of size have codes of conduct that address these things and it would be shocking if the league didn't. Companies don't like their employees representing them poorly; the league doesn't either. I'm convinced there's a solution. Here's what I think would be good for everyone: 1) reiterate publicly that this is an employee code of conduct issue and players are required to meet a certain standard of behavior. then add to that these things: 2) players violating certain codes of conduct, specifically addressing these kinds of protests, receive mandatory fines. These fines should be well defined and should escalate on repeated violations (possibly including eventual suspension), and 3) fines are donated entirely to a charity of the player's choice, but the choice must come from a list of charities approved by the league and players association. For the league, this reasserts their code of conduct requirements and encourages behavior that the fans favor. It also deflects criticism that the league is "pro-racism" and "pro-brutality", assuming the league approves proper charities. Teams could even announce matching contributions on a per-case basis. The league is already in the right here, but with this they also look good defending their interests. For the players, they can still protest as a way of publicly supporting a cause even though it will cost them. It will create a positive legacy for the Kap protests. It will also appear that the league is sympathetic to players' interests, that they are on the same side. The players, through their association, have power over where funds are directed. For the fans, there will be pressure on players to limit behavior that the fans largely disapprove of. Everyone wins. Imagine if a first time fine might be $10K, not unreasonable, and that many players decided to simultaneously protest anyway, as occurred once last season. That could easily result in $10M of charitable donations which would be a huge PR win for players. Imagine further, that the teams or the league decided to match that donation. A total sh*tstorm of positive press.
No chance. Sherman said things about McNair and while McNair may be willing to sign someone with limited social activism, no chance he OKs an outspoken voice like Sherman. Sherman wouldn't want McNair, McNair wouldn't want Sherman.
Why wouldn't the Texans sign Sherman. He's smart, he went to Stanford, he's a good football player and he's never been in trouble. But most of all, they need help in the Def backfield. Maybe Sammy Sosa can help us get pass the COLOR THING!
Not sure what his market value will be but the below scares me... "Sherman is still due to have arthroscopic surgery on his left heel soon to shave bone spurs that he said are jabbing into his Achilles. That surgery, Sherman said, had to wait until he had recovered well enough from the Achilles surgery on his other foot." https://www.seattletimes.com/sports...ury-and-expects-to-play-for-seahawks-in-2018/
