So, to make a long story short, my little sister is very good friends with Elston Turner's daughter. Our family and their family are pretty good friends as well because my sister and his daughter are on the same basketball team. I guess you can say I have a hookup because I was invited to attend a game with Elston Turner's wife, and all I can say is that it was the greatest night any Rockets fan could as for.

I'll recap the night and add in pictures as I go. Well I arrived at the game and sat in my seat in section C119, and I was already flabbergasted because these are the best seats I've ever had in my life.

*Bear with the quality, I was using my iPhone camera.

At the end of the first quarter, I met up with Coach Turners wife (who is possibly the nicest lady ever) and we went up to the Rockets suite where I met Aaron Brooks' adorable little daughter, and a bunch of other Rockets family members including Scola's family who were visiting from Argentina.

At halftime, we went down to the Lexus Lounge to chill and then watch the players come out at the end of halftime. She also let me bring along two of my friends who were also attending the game.

Here we were waiting for the players to come out.

These next few pictures are from when I was walking back to my seats after halftime had ended. I was walking along the baseline and snapping pictures.

When we got back to our section I was told we were moving up like 20 rows, so you can imagine how excited I was. We were right behind the Rockets bench.

After the game was over, I was invited to go meet some of the players in the loading dock. I was so star struck at seeing and meeting all of my favorite players. Here are some pictures.

    Here's Aaron:

    Brent Barry:

Carl Landry (who had a boot on his foot after the game, I wonder what happened?):

    Vince Carter:

We also got to meet CDR and my friend got a few pictures with him. He was really cool and we told him and Dorsey we were huge fans.

I snapped a pic of Yao but I couldn't even get him in frame! He was so much bigger than I expected. He truly is a giant.

I also saw pretty much the entire Nets team, Mike Fratello, Marv Albert, Matt Bullard and a few others I can't think of right now. It was so overwhelming!

All I can really say is that this was probably a dream come true for me and for any Rockets fan.

I'll post a few more pictures.

LOL, funny. That was a family member of one of the players. I was behind the camera on all of them.

The crowd is just simply disgraceful. I'm ashamed to be a fan when i see that. There can't be more than 100 people in that first photo.
